Lemons in Burrawang

What a wonderful weekend - a quilting retreat at Burrawong in the Southern Highlands with some really good friends.

2012 Quilting retreat at Burrawang
I belong to the Mosman Barn Quilters who meet every 2nd Saturday of the month at The Barn, Avenue Rd Mosman. A small group of us decided that we needed to meet more often and formed a sub group (Monday Night Quilters - MNQ) and meet every 1st and 3rd Monday at one of the group's houses. We natter, chat and have tea.

Every once and a while, we organise a get away. Sue R lent us her house in Burrawang for the weekend. We go a lot of sewing done as well as some visits to local quilting shops. Somehow, there is always something you have left behind or fabric you must match up. Our favourite is Timeless Treasures in Mittagong. They are always very helpful.
On the last day, Rebecca and I raided a lemon tree in the garden - now got to work out what to do with them.
