Description

Vilene Quiltlite - 145cm across the width of the fabric.

100% cotton. This is a loosely woven fabric and is used in the same way as wadding. It is very lightweight and easy to hand quilt. Commonly used with quilts made of liberty lawn and is perfect for a light coverlet.

Not recommended for use on longarm machines.

Material: 100% woven cotton

Weight: 110 GSM

Type: Non-fusible, flat-laid wadding

Feel: Soft, brushed nap resembling loosely woven flannel ("doctors flannel")

I’m a quilter who lives in Houston. Needless to say, quilts aren’t all that useful here. However, this thin batting material may be the answer. I know it is wonderful to hand quilt. But I haven’t used a quilt yet that has this as batting but I believe it will be the best batting out there. I just wish I could get it here in the States. I’m glad I can get it from the Quilt Garden.
