2015 Sydney Craft and Quilt Show
This year was my 4th Sydney Craft and Quilt Show. I love how every year, I seem to know more people and people stop by to catch up. I especially enjoy meeting the people behind some of the Instagram handles!
At the end of one of the days we were treated to the most spectacular view - a double rainbow. Definitely a good omen for the show.
Elaine Lye worked on my stand for the second year in a row. She is a colourful character, as most of you will have noticed. Her jackets and bead necklaces always attract a lot of attention.
I have always sponsored prizes at the show - my way of giving back to the quilting community and encouraging the next generation of quilters.
This year I sponsored 3 prizes at the show:
Junior Quiltmaker A (up to Year 6) - Second Prize
  • Won by Scarlet Lewis for her quilt called Ocean Dreams

Commercially Quilted Quilt (Small) - Second Prize
  • Won by Michelle Marvig with her quilt called Kasuri

I really enjoyed meeting some of the prize winners and especially appreciated the thank you letters that I received.
Paula Storm stopped by at the show and purchased a Tula Pink fat quarter bundle - Moonshine - which she quickly transformed into a beautiful lampshade.

Once again, a huge thank you to everyone that stopped by to chat and browse at my stall. I look forward to seeing you again next year.
