Beginners Dress Making BYO pattern
Time: 10 am - 1:00 pm (3 hours)

In our five week course we will take you step-by-step through the techniques of constructing your garment.
Elevate your sewing skills with our Beginners Dress Making Class! Building on your existing sewing knowledge, this course introduces new techniques and more advanced skills in a relaxed, small-group environment.
What you will learn:
- How to read and understand a pattern
- Techniques for creating buttonholes, installing zips, adding pockets, sewing sleeves, making waistbands, and more
- The freedom to choose a pattern based on your skill level
- Choose from a selection of patterns are available in-store
What to Bring:
- Sewing machine
- Good-quality sewing thread (we recommend Gutermann or Aurifil; please avoid cheap threads)
- Tape measure
- Fabric scissors
- Thread snips or embroidery scissors
- Seam ripper
- Pearl-headed pins
- Fabric marker
- Pattern and fabric
