Kids school holidays beginner knitting lesson at Fabric Garden in Neutral Bay, Sydney NSW
In this knitting lesson you will learn how to cast on stitches and knit in garter (knit) stitch. In their first lesson, they can decide whether to make a knitted square or keep knitting and make themselves a scarf!
Note that we recommend more than one class to really pick up how to knit and practising at home between classes.
In subsequent classes - we will work on other basic stitches like stocking stitch (knit and purl rows) and ribbing.
Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Age Level: 8+ years and older

You will need to bring: Knitting needles and a ball of wool/yarn (we recommend a 4mm or 4.5mm hook and 8 ply yarn) .
Knitting needles and yarn will be available for purchase in-store and online.
