Description
Join Catherine for an applique workshop at Fabric Garden in Neutral Bay, Sydney.
This class is designed to teach you the basics of hand piecing. It is a slow, meditative way of putting together your patchwork quilt without requiring a sewing machine.
We will start at the very beginning, demonstrating ¼ inch seam allowance, grain of fabric, threads and needles.
The course will also cover how to make your own quilting templates as well as how to use commercial templates.

- Sandpaper board is recommended
This class is a demonstration only, the aim being to teach you the basic skillsnecessary to hand piece your quilt project.
All requirements will be available to purchase from the shop on the day.
