Join Jemima Flendt (Tied with a Ribbon) for a beginner's machine sewing workshop where you will learn how to make an Equilateral Triangles Quilt.
The workshop is held at Fabric Garden in Neutral Bay, Sydney.
About the Workshop:
Learn how Equilateral Triangles are not as tricky to sew as they may seem. I take students through cutting, sewing and all the tips and tricks to get perfect points every time.
Equilateral Triangles may seem overwhelming but they are easy when you know how. Learn how to sew with confidence in these modern and fun designs. There will be lots of teaching tips so that you can make perfect points along with loads more sewing tips to be learned.
Students can choose from the following quilt patterns:
- End Game
- Love Triangle

Time: 10 am - 16:00 pm (includes 30 minute lunch break)
Dates:
- Sunday, 11th May 2025 - note that this falls on Mother's Day next year!
- Monday, 12th May 2025
Skill Level: Beginner

- Patterns and/or Template (all attendees will need to have their own copy of the pattern and/or templates. All patterns/templates can be purchased prior to the workshop and you can pick up anytime.)
- Fabrics to complete the quilt.

- End Game - 8.5" EQ Template Set
- Love Triangle Quilt - 6" EQ Template Set
- Machine piecing thread
- Rotary cutter, ruler and mat
- Sewing machine with a 1/4" quilting foot
- General sewing supplies (e.g pins, unpicker, spare sewing needles – Universal size 80, small scissors)
- Spray Starch such as Best Press
- Erasable Marking pen
- Note that Backings and Bindings are not needed in the class
